BEHIND THE SCENES
Creative Minds Exposed
I would like to share some photographs of my behind the scenes interview with two of my favorite up and coming rap artists; JR Rodriguez and Robert ‘BigSabs’ Sabado of Two Headed Monster. Friday evening we met at my office at the HUB ( an incubator for creative entrepreneurs) to capture a conversation filmed in the studio before they returned home to Albuquerque New Mexico.
Who are these two artists and what drives their passion for writing and rapping? – This is the topic of our conversation. Exposing you, the fan or future fan to the depth and character that makes up this dynamic duo. You will get a chance to watch our interview after it’s out of post production. What I can tell you is, this is JR and BigSab’s second trip to Sarasota. They spent a week creating a live video in the studio at H&M Productions with B.A.L.E, they shot several pick up scenes for the original video and recorded a new song. They are genuine, creative and write amazing lyrics!!
Editor; Kid Ron Burgandy of Studio KRP, has been working non-stop on Two Headed Monsters video; Big Money feat B.A.L.E. – filmed in Sarasota, FL a few months ago. He finished the video this week after a 14 hour non-stop editing session. You have to appreciate people like Burgandy who have a passion for their craft and willing to go without sleep to deliver an incredible product. He is now back in the editing room tweaking some of the video after getting some feedback. I was able to view the video last night and I have to tell you, the concept will bring you back to your childhood, thanks to the direction of Pete Hansen and expertise of Burgandy being able to bring Hansen’s vision to the screen. That’s about all I can say until you see for yourself.
Pete Hansen with H&M Productions, is not only one of the hardest working people I know he is also the facilitator of the project, director of the music video and the man behind the camera and lighting of our video interview last night. Thanks to Pete, I was asked to be a part of the Big Money music video as one of the producers and later persuaded to be in the video to help even out the dynamic.
It takes a team of people working together to realize your dream. Collaborating with like-minded people will catapult you in the right direction. It’s important to keep close those who have their pulse on the industry and just as important to not burn bridges. Two Headed Monster along with B.A.L.E are heading in the right direction and turning heads because they understand this concept and are passionate about bringing along those who helped them along the way.
