“You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.”-Zig Ziglar
Eight years ago I rented a house in Sarasota, Florida from a Realtor I found online. After only looking at two homes, I found the one I wanted, signed the paperwork and headed to Sarasota, FL. I didn’t know anyone in town and that was exhilarating.
A short time after settling into my new home, I connected with a gentleman named Matt Orr, a happy-go-lucky guy who seemed to attract everyone to him with his smile and upbeat personality. At that time he had his business; This Week in Sarasota (TWIS). Long story short, we started to work together on creating videos geared towards tourists who visit the area. The videos were shown in local hotel rooms around Sarasota.
Matt Orr has grown his brand and it’s the go-to place for people to see what’s happening in the area for entertainment, dining and local news. He is hard to keep up with always moving around engaging, exploring and creating opportunity. Which brings me to the reason for this post. I saw he has entered at contest called, The Biggest Baddest Bucket List. It gives the winner the opportunity to have the job of a life time; six months, six continents with your choice of destinations and $50K in cash!
I saw a post on Facebook on Matt Orr’s page, “So, I’m entered into a travel contest that’s basically awesome. I travel for 6 months and blog about the experience…and you guide me. Voting is super easy. Just click the link. You don’t sign up. Just vote. Please. I beg. http://myde.st/14QR9mK.” I decided why not contribute to helping him gain some votes by blogging to you. It all helps in the end and even though he has no idea I am writing this, it’s the little things you do for people, because you can make a difference. Hopefully if he wins, he will send me a cool souvenir.
Please take a moment and vote for Matt Orr. I believe his journey would be exciting to follow should he be chosen. If you can’t travel and want to live vicariously through someone else, Matt Orr is your man! Share this if you like and if you feel you have what it takes, go ahead and make a video too. While you’re at it, please take a moment to follow my blog so I can share my journey and insight with you, at the very least ‘like’ my page please.
