VIDEO: ‘Houses’ Shows Storm Survivors on Journey To Find Themselves

SARASOTA EVENT: If you love films the Sarasota Film Festival is top in the region with an excellent reputation among the circuit. The festival starts Friday, April 10th – April 19th. One of the festival World Premier’s has ties to Sarasota with resident Danielle Furst who scored this film while her brother Jenner Furst Directed it. Take a peak at the trailer which deals with the subject of recreating life after Hurricane Sandy. Tickets are on sale now Regal Hollywood 20-Sarasota or online at SFF website. Houses, one of a handful of films at this year’s Sarasota Film Festival set for a screening the Sarasota Opera House, primarily follows the lives of three men—played by Nick Sandow, John Ventimiglia and Michael Imperioli—as they go through creative and personal struggles in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. A new trailer showcases the frustrations impacting the life of Sandow’s character creating a play, Imperioli as he creates art while staving of mental problems and Ventimiglia after he sees his home destroyed.
